The Professional Journey of Attorney John McKinley

Upon graduation from the John Marshall Law School in Atlanta in 1995, John joined the Firm of Jett and Liss as an associate Attorney in their offices in Atlanta and Douglasville, Georgia. While at Jett and Liss, John practiced in all Federal and State Courts throughout Georgia in the areas of Domestic Relations Law, Criminal Defense Law, and Personal Injury Law.

In 2005, John started his own firm at John W. McKinley, P.C. in Dallas, Georgia, and has since moved his practice to Villa Rica, Georgia. John has satellite offices in Cobb County and Gwinnett County, Georgia.

As a Criminal Defense Attorney, John brings extensive experience to your case. John has been handling traffic ticket defense cases for over 30 years.

John is currently the Solicitor for the cities of Temple, Tallapoosa, and Whitesburg, Georgia, where he prosecutes serious traffic offenses including, but not limited to, DUI, Reckless Driving, and Driving on a Suspended License. John is also the Public Defender in Villa Rica and Mount Zion, Georgia, where he defends clients facing those same offenses. John has previously served as the Public Defender for the City of Temple, Georgia.
